I have a cat who is over 10 years old now. She only weighs around 10 pounds. Ever since I got it she’s been sleeping on it for hours and she seems very comfortable when doing so. The pad itself is a hard plastic kind of material. I advise everybody to put an old towel, shirt or sweater on it to make it more comfortable. Cats usually don’t mind sleeping on ‘stuff’. As a matter of fact, I’d say quite the opposite is true. These types of outdoor heated pet beds are not very big, so when you have a larger cat then you had better make sure you purchase something a little bigger than this K&H 3093 model.

Generally, my cat loves this warming pad. The temperature it produces is very comfortable and it seems to be evenly spread across the entire surface. Because of the fact that this is an outdoor pad, the power cord is covered with steel coil. You won’t have to worry about your cat gnawing at it and breaking it. In the future I might buy another heated pet bed and I’ll make sure to go with the largest size that I can find. Nothing is good enough for my beloved kitty and I always hate to see her cold.
