I am a big cat fan and I’m always looking for ways to make my cat more comfortable. Next to that, I also have two feral cats running around the house that I occasionally feed. They will often come and sit in the porch or look through the window to see if they can get something from me. Since I couldn’t bring myself to leave those poor animals fending all for themselves, I always make sure they have plenty of food to eat. I’ve even gone as far as to buy a couple of outdoor heated pet beds especially for them.

K&H Lectro Soft Heated Outdoor Bed – Review

I decided to go with a couple of outdoor beds because the feral cats don’t want to live inside my house and my own indoor kitty has the nasty habit of chewing through power cables. The K&H Lectro Soft Heated Outdoor Bed has its power cords insulated with steel coils so there is no way those cables are ever going to break. Thanks to the use of a soft material, this pet bed is very comfortable and it doesn’t require you to put an old sweatshirt on it to make it more comfortable.

Please note that this outdoor heated pet bed is an air bed. It requires inflation. It doesn’t inflate itself unfortunately, so you’ll have to do it yourself. This is not hard to do because this bed isn’t very big. You’ll have it inflated in less than a minute. The plug is not very sturdy so be careful not to break it. This pet bed doesn’t look to me like it will last a long time, so I might have to replace these couple of air beds rather quickly. It’s not that bad because the price is right. But still, for an outdoor pad I would’ve expected a make that looks stronger than this.

I am using this outdoor heated pet bed indoors as well for my own cat. It is easy to put this bed on any location where she prefers to lie. Sometimes, I will put this pad on the couch next to me so that my kitty will come and lie next to me. She looks so very comfortable when she is taking a nap on this warm pad. Whenever my pet is happy, I am happy as well. The pad produces a very comfortable temperature and it never accidentally gets too hot so there is no risk for burning. For the price, I think this is a great product. I will be checking out other pet beds in the future!
